Editorial Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Visionary Marketing publishes research-driven content to help businesses make informed decisions about digital marketing. This editorial policy explains how we create, review, and maintain the accuracy of our published content.
1. Editorial Independence
Our editorial content is independent of commercial relationships. We do not accept payment to publish favourable reviews, endorse products, or promote services through our blog content. Our recommendations are based solely on our professional expertise and analysis of available data. Where we mention specific tools or platforms, it is because we genuinely use or recommend them based on merit.
2. Research Standards
All published research and data-driven articles adhere to the following standards:
- ■ Primary Sources: We prioritise primary data sources including industry reports from Google, Meta, Statista, eMarketer, and other authoritative research bodies.
- ■ Data Recency: Statistics and benchmarks are sourced from the most recent available data. We clearly state the date and source of all data points cited.
- ■ Methodology Transparency: Where we conduct our own analysis (such as cost-per-click benchmarks or ROI calculations), we explain our methodology so readers can evaluate the findings themselves.
- ■ No Fabrication: We never fabricate statistics, case study results, or client testimonials. All figures quoted in our content are verifiable.
3. Authorship
All content is written or reviewed by senior marketing specialists with direct, hands-on experience in the subject matter. We do not outsource content creation to writers without subject-matter expertise. Where AI tools are used in the content creation process, they assist with research and drafting — all final content is reviewed, verified, and edited by a human expert before publication.
4. Fact-Checking
All articles undergo a fact-checking process before publication. This includes verifying all statistics against their original sources, confirming the accuracy of technical claims, and ensuring that recommendations reflect current best practices. If a source is no longer accessible or has been retracted, we remove or update the reference.
5. Updates & Corrections
We regularly review published content to ensure it remains accurate and relevant. When we update an article, we note the revision date. If we discover a factual error, we correct it promptly and add a note explaining the change. Significant corrections are noted at the top of the article.
6. Affiliate Links & Sponsorship
If any article contains affiliate links or is sponsored, this is clearly disclosed at the top of the article. Sponsored content is clearly labelled and does not influence the editorial integrity of our recommendations. At the time of writing, none of our published articles contain affiliate links or sponsorship.
7. Feedback
If you spot an error, have a question about our methodology, or want to suggest a correction, please contact us at chris@visionary-marketing.co.uk. We value reader feedback and take all accuracy concerns seriously.
