A UK national disability-services charity had been on Google Ad Grants for four years, managed by an in-house volunteer with limited Google Ads expertise. Average monthly Ad Grants utilisation: 28% (around £2,200 of the available £8,000). Their paid Google Ads account was running on autopilot: £4,200/month spend, mostly on branded keywords, with little donor attribution.

We started with the Ad Grants account. Account-quality compliance was at risk (CTR was below the Google-required 5% threshold across two campaigns). We rebuilt the campaign structure into seven thematic campaigns aligned to the charity's service areas, deployed Maximise Conversions bidding to work around the £2/click cap, and built 14 new keyword-themed ad groups around informational donor-research queries. Donor attribution was rebuilt next. We don't apply the discount to white-label "ethical" pretexts; we apply it specifically to charities registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (or equivalent in Scotland and Northern Ireland).

Most charity engagements with us land between £850/month for a single-campaign Ad Grants account through to £2,000/month for a multi-campaign Ad Grants + paid hybrid with full donor attribution and CRM integration — or 10% of ad spend, whichever suits. For proven charities with strong attribution and a track record, we're also happy to work on performance-based or hybrid terms.
