The model
What Is White Label SEO?
White label SEO is search engine optimisation delivered by an outsourced provider under your agency's brand. Your clients see your name on the strategy, the work and the reports. The provider stays invisible.
The model is simple. Your agency sells the service and owns the client relationship. We run the campaigns behind the scenes: technical fixes, on-page optimisation, content and link acquisition. Every deliverable carries your logo and your domain. Nothing carries ours.
Agencies buy white label SEO for three reasons. They have more SEO demand than delivery capacity. They sell a channel they do not fulfil in-house, usually paid media. Or they want senior SEO output without the cost and risk of hiring.
Visionary has worked with 200+ companies since 2011 and runs 50+ active client campaigns. Part of that delivery already runs quietly under partner agency brands. Your clients never know we exist. That is the point.
What the client sees
- ■Your agency name
- ■Your logo on every report
- ■Your domain in the sender line
- ■Your account manager
What stays invisible
- □Visionary's name
- □Our strategists and writers
- □Our tooling and process
- □Our involvement in calls
Delivery mechanics
How White Label SEO Delivery Works
White label delivery has four moving parts: fulfilment, reporting, confidentiality and communication. Get all four right and your clients experience one seamless agency. Here is how each works at Visionary.
- 01
Fulfilment under your brand
We run each client campaign exactly as we run our own retainers. Month one covers a full crawl, indexation review and Core Web Vitals check, handled by the same people behind our technical SEO agency work. From there the campaign moves through on-page optimisation, content production and link acquisition on a monthly cycle. You receive every deliverable before the client does. You approve it, forward it or present it as your own. If your client has an in-house developer, we write implementation tickets in your name for their queue.
- 02
Reporting in your name
Reports arrive with your logo, your colours and your domain in the sender line. They are built on Google Search Console, GA4 and Ahrefs data, then written in plain English so your account managers can present them without an SEO specialist in the room. Each report leads with movement against the client's agreed keywords and organic revenue or enquiry numbers, not vanity metrics. You choose the cadence: monthly is standard.
- 03
NDAs and non-solicitation
We sign a non-disclosure agreement before we see a single client name. The agreement covers two things that matter to agencies. First, confidentiality: we never reference your clients in our marketing, case studies or sales conversations. Second, non-solicitation: your clients are contractually yours. If one of them ever approaches us directly, we decline and tell you. White label only works on trust, and we put that trust in writing before onboarding starts.
- 04
Day-to-day communication
You get a named senior contact, not a ticket queue. Most partners run a shared Slack or Teams channel with us for daily questions. Larger partners book a standing fortnightly call. All client-facing writing follows your tone of voice document if you have one. If you do not, we match the style of your existing client emails and reports.
- 05
Joining client calls as your team
Yes, we join client calls as part of your team when you want us there. We appear under your agency's name, introduce ourselves as your SEO specialists, and never mention Visionary. Many partners bring us into quarterly reviews and technical scoping calls where a specialist voice wins the room. Others prefer we stay fully invisible. Both models work. You decide per client.
Partner profiles
Who Is White Label SEO For?
White label SEO fits agencies that sell or want to sell SEO but cannot, or should not, build the delivery team in-house. Three partner profiles account for most of our white label work.
Agencies with overflow
You sell SEO and deliver it in-house, but demand has outgrown the team. Hiring takes months and adds fixed cost. We absorb the overflow campaigns under your brand while your core team stays focused. When you eventually hire, you scale us back down. No redundancy risk, no recruitment fees.
PPC-only agencies adding SEO
You run Google Ads well and clients keep asking for organic. Saying no sends them to a competitor who will eventually pitch your paid account too. With white label SEO you say yes, keep the whole client, and add recurring retainer revenue without learning a second discipline. We handle strategy, delivery and reporting; you handle the relationship you already own.
Consultants and small studios
Independent marketing consultants and small studios use us as their entire SEO department. One client or ten, the delivery standard is identical. Consultants whose clients depend on location-based visibility also lean on our local SEO agency team for map pack and location page work under their brand.
Comparison
White Label SEO vs SEO Reseller: What Is the Difference?
White label SEO is a delivery service: we fulfil campaigns under your brand and you stay hands-on with strategy and client contact. An SEO reseller programme is a commercial arrangement: you buy packaged SEO at wholesale rates, set your own retail price, and sell it on with minimal involvement in delivery.
Choose white label if you want deep involvement, custom scopes and our specialists embedded behind your team. Choose reselling if you want a productised service with a fixed buy price and your margin on top. Many partners start as resellers and move to white label as their SEO book grows. Full buy prices and worked margin maths live on our SEO reseller packages and margins page.
| Dimension | White label | Reseller |
|---|---|---|
| What you buy | A delivery service run under your brand | Packaged SEO at wholesale rates |
| Your involvement | Hands-on with strategy and client contact | Minimal involvement in delivery |
| Scope | Custom scopes per client | Productised, fixed scope |
| Pricing | Agency buy rate, you set retail | Fixed buy price, your margin on top |
| Specialists | Embedded behind your team | Behind the package, not the account |
| Best when | SEO is a service you actively manage | SEO is an add-on you want off your desk |
Standing scope
What Your Clients Receive Each Month
Every white label campaign delivers a fixed monthly core plus tier-dependent volume: technical health work, on-page optimisation, content and links, all reported under your brand. Here is the standing scope.
Technical SEO
Monthly crawl and log-level health checks, indexation management, Core Web Vitals monitoring, structured data, and prioritised fix tickets written for your client's developers or implemented by us where access allows. Site migrations are scoped separately and handled by the same team.
- Crawl and log-level checks
- Indexation management
- Core Web Vitals monitoring
- Prioritised fix tickets
On-page and content
Keyword mapping, title and meta optimisation, internal linking and content briefs come as standard. Written content, from service page copy to supporting guides, is produced by our SEO content services team, edited to your tone of voice, and delivered to you for sign-off before anything is published.
- Keyword mapping
- Title and meta optimisation
- Internal linking
- Briefs and written content
Link acquisition
Links are earned through digital PR placements and relevance-first outreach. Every placement is checked manually for topical fit, traffic and indexation before we pursue it. You see the full link schedule in your branded report. We never use link farms, PBNs or bulk marketplaces on partner campaigns.
- Digital PR placements
- Relevance-first outreach
- Manual placement vetting
- Full schedule in your report
Local and AI search
Campaigns with a physical footprint include Google Business Profile optimisation, location pages and citation management. All campaigns now include AI search visibility work: structured, answer-first copy and entity coverage that earns citations in Google's AI Overviews. This page itself is the top AI Overview citation for its own keyword, and we apply the same playbook to partner clients.
- Google Business Profile
- Location pages
- Citation management
- AI Overview visibility

How Much Does White Label SEO Cost? Agency Buy Rates
£1,300 - £2,500
Per month, per client
White label SEO costs from £1,300 to £2,500 per month per client at agency buy rates, depending on scope and competitiveness. These are the same retainer bands published on our SEO packages page; agencies buy at these rates and set their own retail on top.

Retail at £2,600

Your margin is whatever you add. The maths is straightforward and you control it. Buy a campaign at £1,300 a month. Retail it at £2,000 and you keep £700 a month, a 35% margin. Retail it at £2,600 and you keep £1,300, a 50% margin. These retail figures are illustrations only; you set your own client pricing and we never contact your clients about money.
There are no percentage clawbacks and no per-report fees. The buy rate covers strategy, delivery, your branded reporting and our time on your internal calls. Partners who also hand us paid media get Google Ads management at £850 per month or 10% of ad spend, whichever is greater, with a £1,000 minimum monthly ad spend, managed up to £250k+ per month.

White Label Tiers and Margin
UK white label SEO with Visionary runs from £1,300-£2,500/mo per client depending on scope. For proven agencies with a track record we're also happy to explore performance-based or hybrid terms. You work directly with Chris - a top proven expert with 15+ years' experience - never handed off to a junior.
Foundational
2 content briefs/mo, branded technical audit + monthly report, 2-4 link placements
Ideal for: Local services, small teams
Growth
4 content briefs/mo, weekly updates, 4-8 link placements, quarterly review
Ideal for: eCommerce, professional services, SMEs
Complex
8 content briefs/mo, weekly strategy cadence, 8-14 link placements, dedicated account management
Ideal for: Competitive verticals, multi-brand
Margin Example
Your markup is your margin. Most agencies add 40-80% on top, meaning a client paying you £2,500/mo costs you £1,500-£1,750 wholesale and leaves £750-£1,000 profit margin for your agency (before overhead). We provide wholesale-style pricing with no minimums and no contracts-scale up or down based on your client pipeline.

Most white-label agencies sell on price. We sell on the maths. Input your client retainer, your monthly Visionary white-label fee, and your time investment in account management. The calculator outputs your margin per client, MRR added across the portfolio, and break-even client count. Run it before you onboard.

Deliverable matrix
Exactly What's Delivered Per Tier
Most white-label SEO is sold as 'we'll handle SEO for your clients'. Below is the concrete deliverable matrix - what arrives, in what format, with what branding control, at each tier. Branded reports, audit deliverables, content briefs, link reports - all spec'd.
| Deliverable | Foundational | Growth | Senior |
|---|---|---|---|
| 47-point technical audit | ✓ Branded report | ✓ Branded report | ✓ Branded report |
| Monthly performance report deck | ✓ Branded | ✓ Branded | ✓ Branded |
| Weekly Slack/email update | - | ✓ | ✓ |
| Monthly content briefs | 2 | 4 | 8 |
| Content production drafts | Optional add-on | ✓ Branded delivery | ✓ Branded delivery |
| Link placements | 2-4 | 4-8 | 8-14 |
| Schema deployment | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Live dashboard (white-labelled) | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Quarterly executive review | - | ✓ | ✓ |
| Strategy call cadence | Monthly | Bi-weekly | Weekly |
Every deliverable arrives with your branding - your logo, your brand colours, your client-facing language. We don't appear anywhere on what reaches your clients.
"Chris is a real master of SEO and PPC. I'll never forget the time he discovered what could have been a catastrophic SEO issue, prior to a new big website launch that would have cost the business £100,000s (that every other so-called SEO expert we'd engaged had missed)."
Who delivers
Who Does the Work on Your White Label Accounts?
Your campaigns are delivered by Visionary's in-house UK team, led by founder Chris Coussons, who has 15+ years in SEO. No offshore fulfilment, no anonymous freelancer pool, no juniors learning on your clients.
The same specialists who run our 50+ direct client campaigns run partner campaigns, to the same standard, because a partner client that churns costs us the whole partnership, not one retainer. That incentive shapes everything: senior staffing, conservative promises, and reporting that says plainly when something has not worked yet.
On capacity: we deliberately cap active campaigns per strategist so quality holds as partners scale. New partner campaigns are onboarded in batches rather than all at once, which is why the first 90 days below start with a single trial client.

3-col TCO
White Label vs Hiring In-House vs Hiring Contractors - Real Cost
A side-by-side TCO from the agency-buyer perspective. Annual cost, tooling, continuity, ramp time, scaling - everything that affects whether the model holds at year-three.
| Dimension | Visionary white-label | Hire in-house | Hire contractors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annual cost (mid-tier scope) | £18K-£72K depending on tier × clients | £78K-£127K loaded annual | £40K-£80K (variable) |
| Tooling stack | Included | £15K-£25K/yr | Variable / often add-on |
| Continuity if a person leaves | Continuous (Visionary continuity protocol) | Single point of failure | Contractor-dependent |
| Ramp time | 1-2 weeks per client | 2-4 months hiring + onboarding | 4-8 weeks per contractor |
| Strategic ownership | Senior account-managed | Yours to own | Diffuse |
| Branding control | 100% - your branding | n/a (you ARE the agency) | Variable |
| Scaling cost | Linear - pay per client | Step-function - additional hires | Linear but contractor-quality variable |
| Best for | Agencies adding SEO without team build | Agencies treating SEO as core capability | Agencies with infrequent SEO need |
For most digital / web / branding agencies adding SEO as an additional service, white-label wins on TCO and continuity. For agencies treating SEO as core capability, in-house wins. For agencies with sporadic need, contractors work - but the quality variability is real.
First 90 days
What Do the First 90 Days of a White Label Partnership Look Like?
The first 90 days take you from signed NDA to a steady multi-client delivery rhythm, and you start with one trial client, not a leap of faith.
Pre-onboarding
NDA and partner agreement signed. We agree scope tiers, report branding, tone of voice and communication channel. You get a white labelled audit template and a sample report to use in your own sales conversations.
Single-client trial
You bring one client. We run the full first-month cycle: crawl, technical audit, keyword mapping and the first fix tickets, all delivered under your brand. You see exactly what your clients will see before you commit more accounts.
Scale-up
Happy with the trial, you migrate further clients in agreed batches. Each new campaign gets the same first-month cycle. Link acquisition begins on the trial client through our link building agency process, with every placement listed in your branded report.
Optimisation
We tune the operating rhythm: report format tweaks, call cadence, escalation rules, and a shared forward plan per client. Your account managers now field most client questions from the reports alone.
Steady state
A predictable monthly cycle per client: delivery, branded report, optional joint call. You sell, we fulfil, and adding your next client is a Slack message rather than a project.
London
White Label SEO for London Agencies
We provide white label SEO to London agencies from our UK-based team, working remotely day to day with video calls as standard. London partners typically run competitive briefs, from professional services to ecommerce, where senior specialist delivery matters more than a provider's postcode. Reports, NDAs and communication work exactly as described above. If a client review needs a specialist in the room in person, that can be arranged per engagement.
Partner case
An Agency Partner Engagement

£10.4K MRR added · 12 months · 6-client portfolio
London-based design + branding agency without an internal SEO team. Clients increasingly asked about SEO; the agency was either turning down work or referring out (losing revenue). Engaged Visionary as white-label partner. First 90 days: 1 trial client, then 3 additional, then 2 more by month 6. By month 12: 6 active SEO retainers white-labelled through Visionary, £10,400 MRR added on top of existing design + brand revenue. Partner spent ~6 hours/week on account management; Visionary handled the senior delivery layer.
Partner principal
"The maths only works because Visionary's senior-only model means we never get a junior on a client account. Branded reports arrive monthly; clients don't know we're white-labelling. We picked up SEO retainers we'd otherwise lose."
